NATIONAL ART HONOR SOCIETY (NAHS) – for high school students in grades 9-12

In 1978, the National Art Education Association began the NAHS program to inspire and recognize students who have shown an outstanding ability and interest in art. The program supports members in their efforts to attain the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service, and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community.

"Together we ART Better"

NAHS: A high school honor society for visual arts students in grades 9-12.The NAHS program is different than an “art club.” Students are required to meet eligibility criteria for membership as detailed in the Constitutions and bylaws.

Art Club

Castle High School also offers a free Art Club for any student interested in art, but not wanting to meet the academic standards of NAHS. This club focuses on fostering love of the arts and creating a community for young artists to grow and connect.

If interested in joining either NAHS or Art Club please send an email to Mr. Fitzpatrick
